Cold feet on skis are not natural and not inevitable. They are a signal – and it almost always has one of five explanations.
1 · A Sock That's Too Thick
The biggest misconception in skiing: thickness = warmth. The reality is the opposite. A thick sock squeezes the foot against the boot, reduces circulation and makes feet colder – not warmer. Bootfitters see this daily.

2 · A Boot That's Too Tight
