The 7-zone anatomical knit
A ski boot creates seven mechanical environments around the foot. The Vapor sock has seven distinct knit densities:
- Heel pocket: reinforced cushion, anti-slip fiber direction
- Arch: medial support knit
- Instep: low-profile, no compression against boot tongue
- Toe box: seamless, flat-knit, no pressure points
- Shin shell: reinforced cushion at tongue contact point
- Calf cuff: stretch knit, conforms to calf taper
- Upper cuff: light compression band, holds without restricting circulation
